La Trobe Baseball Club was founded in 1968 and is a great inclusive club that has a spot for people of all skill levels.
As a winter baseball club, our preseason training kicks off in March, with the season running from April to September. More details on the training page.

If you are new to baseball, some loose clothing such as tracksuit pants and T-shirt are fine to start with. The club has some spare fielding gloves that you can borrow while you get a feel for the game.
Turf shoes and moulded cleats are permitted on our new diamond. Metal cleats are not allowed as they can damage the artificial surface.

Round one is scheduled for the weekend of April 23rd. Mixed teams play on Saturday and the womens team on Sunday.
The season runs from mid April to September. Depending on the grade, there are 15 to 17 scheduled games plus finals. Usually there are no games on the Queen’s Birthday weekend and the lower grades may not have a game scheduled in the middle weekend of school holidays.
